CHALCO-FERNANDEZ, Julio César. Cybervictimization in public and private high schools in Cusco, Peru. Rev. aportes de la comunicación [online]. 2023, n.34, pp.35-48. ISSN 2306-8671.

Abstract The objective of this study is to evaluate and compare cybervictimization in students from four mixed secondary schools: two public and two privates in the city of Cusco. For this purpose, there has been a universe of 423 students and a simple random sample of 204 students, between men and women from 13 to 16 years old; all from the fourth grade of secondary school, who solved the first 15 questions of the Cyberbullying Test (TCB), corresponding to the profile of the cyber victim in its three dimensions: harassment, denigration and impersonation. The most important conclusion is that cybervictimization is mostly found in the dimensions of harassment and denigration; that the largest number of cyber victims are women between 14 and 16 years old, and these mostly come from private secondary schools
