Abstract

Abstract The paper identifies and analyzes the theoretical and methodological characteristics of undergraduate research  carried  out  by  students  of  the  Strategic and Corporate Communication career at the Private University of Santa Cruz de la Sierra, UPSA, revealing the use and management of approaches and theoretical approaches,  research  methods  and  techniques,  as well as topics, prevailing function of communication, characteristics of the theoretical framework and authors most frequently cited in research. Strengths and weaknesses of the research activity in this career are revealed.   Eighty of the 112 Final Grade Papers elaborated between 2009 and 2017 were reviewed.
