Abstract

GAMBOA BARBOZA, Isabel.   A body that is not one: flesh, sex and gender. Rev. aportes de la comunicación [online]. 2017, n.22, pp.38-42. ISSN 2306-8671.

ABSTRACT Doubt is the reason for this work. In it, I reflect on the subject of the uncertainty that both the body and the desire entail. To do this, I discuss two currents of thought that question the certainties about the flesh, desire and gender. In addition, I discuss some cultural devices, derived mainly from the State, that insist on fixing humans in two corresponding body categories with a gender and a desire. Finally, I propose some brief reflections.

Keywords : Uncertainty; body; gender; sex.
