Since 2010, the Santa cruz governor Ruben Costas faces an indictment by the prosecutor. The legal process is about an alleged embezzlement. This article seeks to address the media coverage of the legal process and to messure the media notoriety of the governor. This investigation consists in a morphological study of the local press coverage of the most important Newspaper of the city (El Deber, El Día and El Mundo) along one trimester (June-August).
