Resumen

CHAVEZ CASAZOLA, Gabriel. Star in the Water: Bolivian Poetry of a New Century. Rev. aportes de la comunicación [online]. 2014, n.17, pp.57-62. ISSN 2306-8671.

Bla bla bla A question mark. A sign that conceals an enigma that is hidden among mountains. This is how Bolivian poetry tends to be seen from the outside. And even this is a manner of speaking, for it is hardly seen. Or it is not seen at all, despite the fact that Bolivia has a rich, fertile-above all vital-poetic tradition. And in spite of the fact that the Andean mountains are only the western portion of a vast territory of valleys and jungles, which descend towards the east with the rivers (and the language) open. Our poetry is an atypical one, the insularity of Bolivian poetry has often gelled into a valuable originality and a powerful creative force. During this conference, Bolivia's poets of the 2 1st century will be presented.

Palabras clave : Bolivian Poetry; 21st Century; Poetic Tradition; Insularity; Originality.
