Abstract

The research work explores and shows the presence of General Studies in public and private Bolivian universities based on an examination of their study programs. Secondly, it connects the need and opportunity of incorporating the issue of interculturalism as a fundamental part of university education, taking into account the new political and social contextthat has characterized the country since the creation of the Plurinational State of Bolivia.
