This article aims to determine the effectiveness of the Learning by Doing methodological strategy for students in the livestock II subject of the Higher Technical Agronomy Career of Universidad San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca, describing the teaching and learning process in the students. We implemented basic research and pre-experimental- propositional design. We diagnosed the teaching and learning process through surveys to 47 students and 4 teachers related to the subject. The results showed that from the students' perception, teachers must improve their pedagogical training and implement and improve the educational- productive modules. Likewise, from the teaching perception, a deficiency has been identified in the equipment of teaching materials, the loss of teaching vocation in terms of their profession and occupation. The results invite us to propose applying the Learning by Doing methodological strategy to improve Educational quality in the Higher Technical Agronomy Career.
