Abstract

ORTIZ CALOPINO, Angie Beatriz; SANCHEZ CASTILLO, Fiorella Jesús  and  APAZA-PANCA, Cynthia Milagros. Tourist Conditions to promote Nature Tourism in Lancones, Peru. Rev. Cien. Tec. In. [online]. 2023, vol.21, n.27, pp.11-22. ISSN 2225-8787.  https://doi.org/10.56469/rcti.v21i27.880.

Tourism is a key sector in the sustainable development of rural environments, where nature tourism is mainly known for the recreational activities that can be carried out in different places without damaging their ecosystem. In Peru, a variety of tourist resources can be exploited in this way since the purpose of this type of tourism is focused on generating income and, at the same time, enjoying these places while taking care of their environment. Due to this, the tourist conditions (resource, plant, and tourist infrastructure) are significant when evaluating a resource that presents tourist potential. For this reason, the research sought to identify the tourism conditions of the Lancones district to develop nature tourism, 2021. The research was descriptive, with a qualitative approach. In addition, two techniques were used, observation and interview. For that, an observation sheet and an interview guide were implemented. The staff of the District Municipality of Lancones and residents belonging to this district were chosen to complement the research with additional data on the identified tourism resources. It was concluded that according to the tourist conditions of the Lancones district, one canyon and five lagoons were identified as tourist resources, all of which were found to be in an optimal state, in addition, there was a deficiency in the tourist plant, due to the lack of tourist agencies, lodging and restaurants, in the same way, in its tourist infrastructure there was little signage and inefficient access roads to the resources.
