Native meadows are a resource of vital importance for livelihood of livestock and man himself. However, currently they tend to be degraded and with low forage availability, generating few economics benefits in relation to the potential it may produce. This situation is clearly seen in Sorojchi and Yoroca communities, Tomoyo canton of Ravelo Municipality in the Department of Potosí in Bolivia, where the excessive human pressure on the natural resource is putting its sustainability at risk, affecting negatively the socioeconomic situation of its inhabitants. This study is based on descriptive research, using observation, survey and interview techniques, interpreted by the inductive, deductive and statistical methods; information was collected and it was made a diagnosis, which concluded with the technical proposal elaboration for the management of native meadows in the communities of Sorojchi and Yoroca. This proposal consists on the intervention of different sectors (local, municipal and community authorities, related institutions and inhabitants of Yoroca and Sorojchi communities) previously coordinated in accordance with the relevant policies in force for the execution of an activity plan focused on the sustainable development of the native prairies of both communities
