GARECA, Mireya. Impact of Educational Classrooms in the Teaching Learning Process of the High School Level. Rev. Cien. Tec. In. [online]. 2016, vol.13, n.14, pp.771-782. ISSN 2225-8787.

The studies on this topic indicate that to provide environments with space quality facilitates the instruction and would to contribute to the Process of Teaching Learning (PTL) promoting abetter academic performance, therefore the present article has how objective to know the impact of physical environmental factors of four classroom in a secondaries schools. It was used a qualitative-quantitative approach, enabling a study of an interpretative social type, the survey technique was applied to a population of 102 students of four schools in the city of Sucre in 2015, also the technique of observation was used through an evaluation form based on theoretical references for to evaluate the physical environmental quality of four classrooms. The study identified six factors that have an impact on the Process of Teaching Learning (PTL): density, furniture, acoustics, lighting, colour and air conditioning. The results show that only one of the classrooms evaluated of these four schools meets the minimum requirements of physical environmental quality recommended for educational spaces, the results infer that there is a relation between a higher yield and a better spatial quality, because school B has a 57% environmental quality assessment, had the best percentage of approval to the University San Francisco Xavier in 2015, with a 71%. It concludes that a classroom that does not meet the minimum requirements has a negative impact on the Process of Teaching Learning (PTL) which translates into poor academic performance which is generated by factors such as: absenteeism, aggressiveness, lack of attention, boredom and fatigue.
