The present article describes the ways developed by students of Social Work School in preventing the trade and human trafficking, with the purpose of identifying risk behaviors and security measures aimed at promoting self-care practices. To achieve this purpose we used "survey" techniques divided into four parts such as trade, trafficking, current regulations, and prevention. The study was conducted by students who regularly attend the Social Work School. The resulting information reflects the knowledge and experience attained by young women who have, themselves undertaken prevention methods, together with their proposed recommendations; all together, was analyzed, therefore contributing to the fight against the trade and human trafficking from the perspective of the national government, mass media, universities, schools, families, and by individuals as well, developed within a logical framework where the systematic organization of these entities are seen as able to contribute to the strengthening of a culture of self-care that would impact favorably on people's quality of life and their subsequent development.
