MITA, Erick et al. Influence of Transformational Leadership in the Organizacional Enviroment at the University San Francisco Xavier de Chuquisaca. Rev. Cien. Tec. In. [online]. 2015, vol.10, n.11, pp.623-634. ISSN 2225-8787.

It is important to have information about types of leadership and organizational environment in the university careers in order to take decisions to improve the educational management involving members of the organization, toward the achievement of corporate goals. Therefore, this article identifies the predominant type of leadership among authorities from the Economic, Accounting and Humanities area, in the organizational environment. For this purpose the MLQ 5X and Halpin and Croft questionnaire were applied to 11 directors and 285 professors from the departments of the areas stated. Among the results, it was possible to identify that the Humanities area is the only one with a transformational leadership whereas the transactional leadership is predominant in the other areas. In respect to the influence of the transformational leadership in the organizational environment it is evident that there is no relationship. The organizational environment variable can be influenced by variables other than leadership, therefore, other research that analyze this aspect are suggested.
