Abstract

Objective:

This article analyzes the social support networks and the effect they can have in support of the mental health, well-being and emotional stability of women during the pandemic, highlighting their individual, family and collective dimensions.

Method:

The methodological approach that follows is qualitative from the explanatory perspective of the bibliographic method, that is, in a systematic and critical study and analysis of the health crisis caused by the COVID-19 virus and the set of political measures, economic and social health imposed by governments worldwide.

Discussion and conclusions:

The analysis achieved leads to understanding the current situation of precariousness and vulnerability in which various groups of women find themselves, which highlights the vital importance of social support networks in their present and future situation.
