Abstract

DURAN VILA, Nadia Iris. Teleworking and conciliation with the family coexistence environment during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Revista de Psicologia [online]. 2020, n.Especial, pp.68-72. ISSN 2223-3032.

Abstract This article describes and analyzes Telework, as a way to continue work activities during the Pandemic and the implications it presents within the family coexistence environment. The content also contributes to answering the following question: How to make a better conciliation with work and family life? In situations where the workspace is the home. People spend most of their time, money and energy in two fundamental spheres: family and work. The family from affective ties is a source that generates personal, conjugal and parental satisfaction, on the other hand, work provides personal, social satisfaction by making available work skills in a work space. However, the coexistence of these two spheres: family and work, in the same environment where work activities are carried out implies a certain degree of distractions that make concentration difficult, due to the presence of family members who are at home when you are teleworking (García and Pérez, 2013). For this reason, it is relevant that the workers who carry out Teleworking use practices that from Organizational Psychology within the framework of Human Resources Development promote it to be applied in Teleworking and that contribute to the continuity of work activities, making a conciliation with family interaction.

Keywords : Teleworking; Self-management; Family coexistence.
