In this article the general lines of psychography are presented as research design in the field of psychological science. It is a methodological research strategy that allows describing the life of the person, understanding their sense of life. Specifically, it describes the way in which the human being expresses, recreates, affirms and realizes his sense of life, the way in which the organization, the dynamics and the sense of development of his personality mediate his displacements and creations in the community where he exists.
