This article tries on the relationship of the professional orientation and the vocational satisfaction of the students of the Ability of Humanities of UMSA. It is shown that the professional orientation received by the students has a scarce relationship with its vocational realization. This way it is noticed that the professional orientation is more a commercial activity that a formative activity that contributes in the personal development of the students.
