Abstract

This research aims to describe the group identity of the Barra Brava called "Glorious Ultra Sur" supporter of The Strongest La Paz-Bolivia, processes, expressions and characteristics of group identity settings for an analysis of its constituent elements. The issue raised is understood by Tajfel (1981) as "part of an individual's self-concept which derives from its membership in a social group together with the evaluative and emotional significance attached to that membership". In the Bolivian football, emerging forms of violence in sports venues and even in public settings, facts which are carried out by hooligans, less frequently than in the countries of South America, so it is essential that in our environment (Bolivia) will describe and analyze these aspects in order to understand the behavior of these groups and possibly decrease the facts, even isolated, violence being generated, determining measures and lines of action to prevent these events from the perspective of psychology Social
