This investigation is basically collecting the information between the contras violence women, in this case, shown from the workplace, traduce in mobbing because of the adverse power relationships and howthis affects in the behavior of women when they decide notto go to their labor or unwilling to do so. For research we worked with a private medical center in the city of La Paz, Bolivia in which were analyzed 84 nurses (licensed and auxiliary) by asking the 43 mobbing behaviors in the questionnaire of Cisneros and relating itwith 4 questions to quan-tify absenteeism labor due to the same behaviors. They came to the results that there is labor mobbing within the institution study and 80% of it is generated by adverse power relationships (vertical mobbing). The women most affected are those between 18 and 25 years of age and those who are nursing assistants. Forthe company, we estimated absenteeism possible and real and its translation in monetary terms. Absenteeism rates rangingfrom 1 % to 12.38% alarming figures forthe organization and business costs of absenteeism, meanwhile, are given between Bs. 916,00 and Bs. 26,031.95 monthly.
