Abstract

The syndrome of burnout appears in all the professions and labor activities where there exist pressures and sressful situations that can generate different symptoms that affect the person, not only in the labor area, but also in his(her,your) daily life. The present descriptive investigation(research) establishes the relation between(among) the features of personality (according to the DSM the IVth) and Burnout's Syndrome (job stress), in the personnel in health that offers his(her,your) services in the Unit of Surgery Plastic and Burned of the Hospital of Clinics of La Paz. The sample possesses(relies on) 28 subjects. There was applied the Module IP DSM-IV of Personality and the MBI, Burnout de Maslach's Inventory.
