ABSTRACT This article identifies the most important indicators of the state of primary education in our country. The objective is to provide current and valid quantitative data on the educational situation of children in school age primary school level. Also, the evolution of educational indicators and data is analyzedto establish the trend of the behavior of important educational variables in recent years. The work identified three variables: Opportunity, Achievement (quality), and Equity. The information provided includes data on enrollment, coverage, termination, abandonment, failure, repetition, lag and promotion of elementary students, plus information on teachers and schools.
