Bolivia, as an extremely diverse country, has experienced regional conflicts throughout its history for various reasons, to varying degrees. One of the most complex of these is the regional struggle between Sucre and La Paz, two cities of great historical significance in the formation of modern Bolivia. This study aims to examine the most notable background factors, key events, and underlying causes of this conflict, how it has evolved over time, and why it continues to persist to this very day.
