This study analyzes the influence of the Chaco War on the postmemory of young Bolivians aged 18 to 31 with higher education residing in La Paz. Through a mixed-methods approach, surveys and a focus group were used to explore the persistence and transformation of this conflict in national identity. The results reveal a disconnection between the historical significance of the conflict and a deep understanding of its causes and consequences. The study highlights the need to strengthen education and cultural activities to revitalize the memory of the conflict and its impact on Bolivian identity.
