Anthropology, as well as other human Sciences, has been early interested in analyzing the relationship between various societies and the environments they inhabit, which has motivated the development of varied approaches to respond to the main environmental dilemmas of each era. In this work, possible strategies for analysis are proposed from social studies to reflect on the relationship between our species and insects, with the intention of going beyond the mere recovery of indigenous taxonomies and entomological knowledge.

Palavras-chave : Indigenous ecological knowledge; ethnoentomology; environmental anthropology.
