Resumen

HOLLWEG URIZAR, Karin Gabriela. Santa Cruz's novels in the last 75 years: characteristics and identity in the oriental narrative. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2022, vol.26, n.48, pp.215-242.  Epub 01-Jun-2022. ISSN 2077-3323.

Santa Cruz's Literature has only had local diffusion and little dialogue with the national literature since its beginnings, due to the little integration between Santa Cruz and the Bolivian economic and political axis. This distance generated a tendency in Santa Cruz writers to recount their surroundings, customs and ways of conceiving the world. Despite the fact that the situation has changed and Santa Cruz is now much more linked to the spheres of power, the Santa Cruz novel still works on its problematics. Analyzing the Santa Cruz novel of the last 75 years allows us to know how its authors have developed their own literary identity.
