Abstract

NAVIA ANTEZANA, Cecilia; CZARNY KRISCHKAUTZKY, Gabriela  and  SALINAS SANCHEZ, Gisela. Study Outside the University in Pandemia: Indigenous Students in Mexico. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2021, vol.25, n.46, pp.69-87. ISSN 2077-3323.

The purpose of this article is to learn about the conditions and assesment of being a student of the Bachelor of Indigenous Education at the Universidad Pedagógica Nacional, México, without being physically at the university in the current context of the pandemic. A survey was applied to students and the teaching experience of the authors of this article was documented. It was found that although the students achieved new learning for their studies and for life, the inequality of opportunities and access to technologies and the Internet, as well as the economic crisis caused by the pandemic, widened the economic and social gaps, as well as the educational opportunities.

Keywords : Indigenous students; covid-19; university; use of technologies.
