Abstract

VAN DEN BERG, Hans. Russian literature around the 1917 Revolution. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.39, pp.145-196. ISSN 2077-3323.

Descriptive review of the process suffered by Russian literature during the Bolshevik Revolution. The author argues that this revolution proposed a human remodeling of the Russian citizen under the name homo soviéticus and in this role it involved and conditioned the development of culture and literature of the country with disastrous consequences. To argue this position, he examines the testimonial production in chronicles, diaries, novels and poems by notable Russian writers, where is expressed the tremendous social and human commotion caused.
