Abstract

ALDUNATE LOZA, Érika. La Aurora en Copacabana, a play by Calderón de la Barca: Problematic of its sources. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2017, vol.21, n.38, pp.171-187. ISSN 2077-3323.

Contribution to the research on the sources of the auto sacramental La Aurora in Copacabana (1672) by Pedro Calderón de la Barca. In addition to those already known by Alonso Ramos Gavilán, Antonio de la Calancha and Fernando de Valverde, it is argued on a philological analysis firm possibility that another source has been the controversial "manuscript" of Baltasar de Salas, allegedly edited in 1600. Finally, it is suggested as another subject of investigation the probable additional reference of the New Corónica and Good Government of Guamán Poma de Ayala in the work of Calderón de la Barca.
