Abstract

Bolivian radio has a long history that started with experimental exercises of broadcasting even before the real presence of this technology in the country in 1929. The role of radio always has been related to the social processes and cultural dynamic of the Bolivian people. In this way in Bolivia this medium has experienced forms of operating that came out decades after in the theory of mass communication. Radio is a mean for democratization of the voices and this quality links with the oral tradition of communication that belongs to the indigenous societies. The edutainment is a worldwide theory and practice that move towards social change proposals, in this path took place the Project "Voces Nuestras" an experience that recuperate the traditional of the story telling as a way of communicate for social change.
