Resumo

LOPEZ BELTRAN, Clara. Outlook on the twentieth century bolivian historical research. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2015, vol.19, n.34, pp.115-124. ISSN 2077-3323.

This esssay describes the historical research in Bolivia analizing the positives and negative aspects of these studies. It developed the issue through a historical perpective, from the beginning of the century to the sexties and seventies when the profesionalization starts, considering the nationalistic stage in between. This process wanted to reinforce the national identity. Today, according to the author, Bolivia could built his own historiography but, the process is still weak and have to improve in the next future.
