Abstract

VELARDE ROSSO, Jorge E.. Modernity, postmodernity and cristianism. An approach to Joseph Ratzinger. Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2014, vol.18, n.33, pp.153-163. ISSN 2077-3323.

The article is the transcript of the speech delivered in the auditorium of the Universidad Católica Boliviana "San Pablo" upon the academic ceremony in honor of Benedict XVI that took place on February 27, 2013, with the presence of the authorities of University and the Apostolic Nuncio in Bolivia. The article proposes a reading of the work of Joseph Ratzinger in a philosophical perspective and proposes the author as a philosopher who is part of the critical awareness of the present time, with the intention of contributing to a solution. A brief presentation of the text helps contextualize the issue of the magazine.
