This work consists on a critical review and comments on the different editions of Vocabvlario de la lengva Aymara written by Ludovico Bertonio starting with the princeps, dated in 1612, to the latest. Considers the original Bertonio’s context in which they were published (printing, comments, introduction and to whom they were dedicated). Finally pays special attention to each of these editions specific features related to the historical process in whichnative languages attain more and more importance.
