Abstract

VAN DEN BERG, Hans. Vasili Grossman (1905-1964) and his novel Forever Flowing . Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2010, n.25, pp.37-71. ISSN 2077-3323.

The author goes over the life and works of Ukrainian-Jew writer Vasili Grossman,one of the most important writers of the soviet domination period, nevertheless not known or studied sufficiently due to the Stalin regime repression and persecution he suffered during his live. The second part of the paper analyzes his novel Forever Flowing, and ends up evaluating the general meaning of Grossman´s works concerning freedom and other human values related to his tragic doom in Russia´s history.
