Resumen

MORALES, Juan Antonio. Las instituciones económicas en la nueva Constitución Política del Estado . Rev Cien Cult [online]. 2010, n.24, pp.193-214. ISSN 2077-3323.

Display the economic implications of the New State Constitution adopted in Bolivia is of crucial importance for the country’s future development. The article inquires into these implications from a study of the constitutional text and comments already made by other analysts. The new Constitution has a statist tradition of socialist roots and resonances very popular in Latin America. While it is not orthodox in this sense, clearly has a desire to give the state greater prominence and presence in the national economic reality. This can have serious negative consequences on issues such as private investment, private property and central bank autonomy, and can seriously hamper national development to make more extensive social and economic philosophy of societal and community bias.

Palabras clave : Private property; private investment; bank autonomy; community economy; economic statism.
