The narrative is a literary resource that allows in many disciplines to leave a written testimony of the activities that a person develops. In the educational field, the idea is to write a story that describes an experience in which the teacher is the protagonist. The possibility of transforming the experience into the written word is to document an experience that, if not done, remains as a situation that only remains as an anchor in the memory. This article develops the account in the first person of a university teaching experience, where systemic and constructivist techniques and strategies are shown to explain systemic and constructivist concepts. That is, these models are used to explain the same models that are implemented to teach them. The story is subjected to criticism and theoretical endorsements.
