Abstract

RUELAS VEGA, Valeria Alejandra  and  MARTINEZ, Oscar. BODY MARKINGS IN YOUNG PEOPLE DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN THE SOCIAL REINSERTION CENTER FOR YOUNG PEOPLE "QALAUMA". Ajayu [online]. 2022, vol.20, n.1, pp.89-122.  Epub Mar 01, 2022. ISSN 2077-2161.

The qualitative-descriptive studio was developed with the purpose of investigating the meaning of body marks in young people deprived of liberty from 18 to 25 years of age, chosen in a non-probabilistic way, who, being in a situation of confinement, manifest abstractions in marked bodies that affect in the construction of subjective and intersubjective reality. For its approach, the psychosocial and intersubjectivity theoretical concepts allowed a better understanding about the interaction of the individual and his context, and the factors that influence behaviors in conflict with the law. Along with this, case studies and interviews reveal that confinement affects not only the body (disciplining it) but also at the psychic level (personal and relational affection), with painful forms of punishment in the being, being restricted by the same system and without a space in which to pronounce themselves than in their own bodies. Therefore, the stories and resources they have used to make their reality evident denote the importance of these bodies, presenting themselves as subjects of interpretation, as well as those who interpret the conception of body mark.

Keywords : Adolescents in conflict with the Law; Prisoners; Corporal Marks; Construction of reality; Subjectivity; Corporal Meaning.
