PONCE VALDIVIA, Freddy Andrés  y  PINTO, Bismarck. STRUCTURAL APPROACH AND CENTERED THERAPY IN THE PROBLEM APPLIED TO LOVING BREAK. Ajayu [online]. 2020, vol.18, n.1, pp.244-270. ISSN 2077-2161.

This work is a descriptive case study within a qualitative methodology that will deal with the structural approach and therapy focused on the problem applied to the breakup of a young person. Where the psychoterapy process was 8 sessions divided on the exploration of the case and the intervention. In which the techniques used in the therapy centered on the problem and the critical incidents in the different sessions will be highlighted with the technique of critical incidents. Where the differentiation of the problem from a difficulty will be seen, focusing the love experience as his main problem and the separation of the parents as a difficulty to face. Therefore, this work will describe how to recognize the mistakes made in this boy's couple's relationship, the reformulation of the concept of love and work based on the functioning of the family system to overcome the breakup of love. It will also demonstrate the importance of acquiring a family approach within a psychotherapeutic intervention that will reflect the emotional detachment from his family and the reframing of his role as a child with the same therapeutic process. Also, the limitations in the intervention process and the main recommendations around the theme for the intervention of the love break with the therapy centered on the problem will be identified.
