Abstract

LORA F., María Elena. LA SEGREGACIÓN DESDE UNA PERSPECTIVA DE LA ANTIMODERNIDAD. Ajayu [online]. 2019, vol.17, n.1, pp.161-171. ISSN 2077-2161.

The lack of roots, the stray attitude and the limitation towards legality, so characteristic of tue current times, make it impossible to listen to the “different”, which translates into segregation, racism, unleashing a unique violence of the One, destined to face the fear of the invisible, the unknown. An example of this situation is a prolonged and excluding attitude towards certain indigenous sectors, whose lands are being taken away, uprooting them and forcing them to migrate to cities or countries, adding to the masses of segregated and excluded, that already live in the constant struggle to survive “the market experience”. On the other hand, the extermination’s being perpetrated or the acts of barbarism in the name of the “common-being” (i.e. blood, affiliation, origin, identity, religion) mark an opening to think and question “being-in-common” and a challenge for psychoanalysis today.

Keywords : Antimodernity; Uprooting; Migration; Segregation.
