LOSADA, Analía Verónica  and  RODRIGUEZ ERANA, Soledad. TRASTORNOS DE LA CONDUCTA ALIMENTARIA y PREVENCION PRIMARIA. Ajayu [online]. 2019, vol.17, n.1, pp.77-102. ISSN 2077-2161.

Eating Disorders (TCA) can be addressed from the perspective of primary prevention. The results of this study were based on a literature review to highlight the importance of carrying out primary prevention and increasing the epidemiology of eating disorders in Western society in recent years. Given that the diagnosis of the pathology is usually made when it is in an advanced stage, this work seeks to make the population aware that it is essential to develop research that allows the deployment of prevention and detection strategies. By understanding the etiology of eating disorders, one can be attentive to individual and sociocultural risk factors and, from the point of view of health professionals, know that there are instruments not only to help establish a diagnosis but also use their use as tools for the detection of these disorders.
