BOHRT, Raúl y LARREA, Patricia. RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN NORMATIVE COMMITMENT AND PERCIEVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT IN WHITE COLLAR WORKERS. Ajayu [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.2, pp.220-251. ISSN 2077-2161.
The present work is a deepening of the research done by Larrea (2017) focusing in establishing the relationships between the Organizational Commitment and the Perceived Organizational Support on data of 142 employees of a professional service company of La Paz city. The purpose of this article is to examine specifically the relationship between Perceived Organizational Support - POS (Eisenberger and Stinglhamber, 2011) and Organizational Commitment - CO in its Normative component explained by Meyer and Parfyonova (2010). Blau's (2008) proposal on exchange and reciprocity provides the appropriate framework for exploring these relationships. The results were analyzed making evident the answers to the most relevant reactants of both scales, so then the people responsible for the human resource practices of the organizations identify the arguments that make to the construction of the commitment and the perception of support of the organization, through their direct supervisors. The statistical process confirms the presence of both variables, the contents that define them, in terms of the single dimension of AOP and the three components in the CO. In addition to the evident relationship between the perception of organizational support and its derivation in commitment, particularly in the normative component of commitment.
