Abstract
PONCE VALDIVIA, Freddy Andrés and PINTO, Bismarck. LOVE & COURTSHIP IN A GROUP OF A YOUNG STUDENTS OF LA PAZ CITY. Ajayu [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.1, pp.123-149. ISSN 2077-2161.
This work investigates courtship in focus groups with youth men from the city of La Paz, Bolivia. It details the first interaction in the seduction of a youth woman and ilusttrates the main characteristics of courtship related to a university environment, in which the objectives, differences in styles, stages and their properties as a rapid, spontaneous and structured process, can be seen. Here we observe a process different from antiquity, driven by different cultural and social models. We see the culture and social dimensions inserted in courtship with masculinity, gender roles, the sexual revolution and empowerment of women as models that have influenced the behavior of men and women. This research also identifies those strategies used for seduction in which the movements to attract a partner have two origins, one social and the other sexual. This also gives a small glimpse into the expectations and problems in comtemporary courtship that have been modified in response to these new movements and models which suggest the construction of a new profile of the seducer. Thats why I invite you to read this research which is immersed in three dimensions: the social, the biological and personal, which let us identify and understand some aspects of this new phenomenon and to analyze our own courtships.
