FLORES M., Jessica y GOMEZ V., Ingrid. PERCEIVED ORGANIZATIONAL SUPPORT AND ORGANIZATIONAL COMMITMENT IN A PRIVATE COMPANY IN LIMA, PERÚ. Ajayu [online]. 2018, vol.16, n.1, pp.1-30. ISSN 2077-2161.
The present research seeks to determine the correlation between the variables Perceived Organizational Support and Organizational Commitment in a private institution in Lima. A representative sample of 135 teleoperators from a company dedicated to a call center was used. The sample consisted of 56% of women and 44% of men, the average age of both sexes was 24 years of age, 73% was born in Lima, 26% in the province and 1% abroad. Likewise, the Eisenberger Perceived Organizational Support Scale (1986) and the Organizational Engagement Scale (Meyer and Allen, 1991) were used in this study. In this research, it was concluded that perceived organizational support and organizational commitment are positively related. The permanence of a collaborator in the company will depend on the positive perception of organizational support and the conformity with the work. Likewise, if the person has a negative perception of organizational support, they are likely to feel dissatisfied with their work and, therefore, leave their job.
