Abstract

An investigation was conducted, qualitative empirical method, design narrative, autobiographical, with taking three cases, police of the Province of Buenos Aires who acquired a physical disability in action. We sought to generate, the meeting point between disability and resilience as it sought to determine the stage of physical disability acquired in action the various pillars of resilience, to observe the characteristics that are usually successful for this type of attitude. Acquired physical disability, is seen as a traumatic situation where the subject must pass through the fact, having different types of reactions; one is a resilient attitude; to discover which mitígate, mostly, the negative impact sought to know if they could establish pillars of resilience, as a way of coping with a physical disability as a result of an act of police service.
