Abstract

SANCHEZ DOMINGUEZ, Juan Pablo. CASE STUDY: A WAY INVESTIGATE IN PSYCHOANALYSIS. Ajayu [online]. 2016, vol.14, n.1, pp.7-22. ISSN 2077-2161.

This paper aims to analyze the principies governing research in psychoanalysis, while identifying the differences existing in this context on those disciplines with which could have some connection of dialogue. The case study is a methodological formulation for the approach to the investigation of those subjective phenomena initiated by Freud and continued by other psychoanalysts. This is followed by the psychoanalytic study of the parricide Pierre Riviére drawn up by Michel Foucault of the problems that could result when undertaking an approach the case.

Keywords : Psychoanalysis; case studies; research; parricide; Pierre Riviere.
