Autism is a disorder with multifactoral characteristics that even though not having a cure it affects both the patient and the family, also it is a constant mourning for the family. The structuralist family therapy can achieve positive changes in the family that will create a better development in the child at a personal and social level, and this should allow the family to reorganize at a functional level taking into acount that the disorder will still be present. The results of this study show that through this structuralist therapy there will be a positive change within the family organization with the goal of having fuctional agents that will allow a better quality of life not only for the autistic child, but also for everyone else who is part of it.
