Abstract

The disorder by the consumption of substances is now a public health problem of great importance because of their incidence, resistance to treatment and to be presented at an increasingly early age.  House Lighthouse is a center for diagnosis and lead to more than two and a half years ago, has as its objective the approach to patients with the problems of substance abuse, the most representative today by be highly toxic and addictive: the Paco.  This work seeks to describe the device and the strategies of approach during the encampment, to then give continuity and completion of treatment in therapeutic community. The majorities of the residents are admitted in situation of street, marginality and abandonment and is of the utmost importance to be able to count on the networks of healthy containment, whether family or with which the child and/or adolescent formed in their request for assistance, considering the new mental health act (Law 26,657), which protects the residents. Finally, we discuss the problem with statistics in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires for clinical practice and future research.
