SEREBRINSKY, Horacio. GROUP PSYCHOTHERAPY. Ajayu [online]. 2012, vol.10, n.2, pp.132-155. ISSN 2077-2161.
The author of the essay refers to the systemic foundations involved in group psychotherapy. Understands the group as a place of lodging and protection and a system that plays everything: individual, social and family. The group therapy is a system that converge operationally the requirements of a multitude of human systems with their own experiences, values, beliefs and particular way of signifying the world. It is important to read the analog and digital communications. Group psychotherapy allows various stories about individual problems, so you can do a reconstruction of reality. The therapeutic group space will open the door to see, think and feel socially constructed different to that in the family space itself expanding and creating a new one. Group psychotherapy defines a process that moves the speech "problem" (individual) to group. Finally, it suggests that group interaction will realize that others have "deformities" like oneself, which allows the therapist to identify their own distortions.
