PINTO, Bismarck and LOSANTOS, Marcela. Perception of Risk Factors Family Child Abuse in Children and Adolescents at Social Risk in La Paz, El Alto, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. Ajayu [online]. 2011, vol.9, n.2, pp.308-323. ISSN 2077-2161.
The research describes the relationship between perception of family risk factors of child abuse and sociodemographic characteristics of a population of children and adolescents in the cities of La Paz, El Alto, Cochabamba and Santa Cruz. The population consists of children and adolescents at high social risk. The instrument used for this purpose is the SPCA (Scale of Perception of Child Abuse) that measures people's perception regarding the factors of family communication, demonstration of affection, family conflict resolution, respect for rights, signs of child abuse and beliefs that perpetuate abuse. This shows that the phenomenon of child abuse is closely connected with culture and features of a particular group.
