Abstract

This case study shows the effectiveness of solution-focused therapy in the treatment of pathological mourning, the search for exceptions, the compliments and the question of the miracle, the use of techniques for the treatment of mourning. The work of the primary keeper , generating a sense of guilt and the responsibility to care for the whole family. By analyzing both, the theory along the practice we can inferred that they complement each other, but these depend on each patient, how to manage their own grief and their own personality as well. It is important to recognize the personality and the needs of the patient, know clearly why he is resorting to therapy, so the therapy is useful, because although the theory tells us what to do in medical practice, the times and moments are different in each patient and must be respected to reach a good conclusion.
