ABSTRACT The aim is to achieve adherence to treatment of childhood epilepsy within a family of Aymara origin. The family is motivated by cultural beliefs about illness and pain that hinder care and attachment to the identified patient. Achieving the primary objective is to achieve adherence to treatment and improve quality in family and child. The therapy led to the expression of feelings, to understand the impact of family illness and the recognition of the role of primary caregiver for mother and thinly assess personal, social, disease and health service to achieve adherence to treatment.
