Abstract

PINTO, Bismarck  and  ALVAREZ, Eduardo. Terapia Breve y Depresión infantil (Estudio de Caso). Ajayu [online]. 2010, vol.8, n.2, pp.159-180. ISSN 2077-2161.

ABSTRACT The case study addresses a Child Depression in a child of eleven. The unsatisfactory school performance is addressed by the school as Attention Deficit Disorder, and suggested outside psycho-educational support. A comprehensive assessment discarded organic problems and leads to rethinking the diagnosis from the systemic perspective of the problem-centered therapy and narrative. It states that the more pressing the mother to compliance with homework child performance is worse. Intervention in this subsystem, prescribing activities outside the duties, lowers tension between them. The changes in cognitive, emotional and behavioral disorder show the reversal. Strategic therapy is highly effective.

Keywords : depression; attention deficit disorder; strategic therapy; narrative therapy.
